Watch: Get a glimpse of classical suspense thriller in 'Bombay Velvet' trailer

Mumbai: Anurag Kashyap’s period drama Bombay Velvet which is set in the 1960’s is one highly-anticipated film this year. The second trailer featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma locked in struggle for power, follows in the wake of a trailer and two songs from the film.
Set against the backdrop of ambition, love, greed, and jazz – ‘Bombay Velvet’ is the story of one ordinary man who goes against all odds and forges his destiny to become a ‘Big Shot’. Welcome to the City of Dreams. Welcome to Bombay Velvet. Ranbir looks suave and deadly, while Anushka is uber-glamorous. But there's something even better than that- Karan Johar's wicked character steals away the show.
The trailer manages to 'pack a puch' within the first few seconds and establishes the relationship that Karan and Ranbir's characters share. While the first trailer didn't establish the storyline quiet well, the second one gives a brief outline of the suspense and deception to follow.
