New Delhi: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday said the opposition will strongly raise the Kashmir issue and the Land Acquisition Bill in the Parliament.

" Opposition will strongly raise both, Kashmir issue and Land ordinance in Parliament. Both issues are important, one is a matter of national security and the other is about the rights of farmers of nation," NCP general secretary Tariq Anwar told ANI.

The second half of the budget session of Parliament begins today.

While the Lok Sabha will reconvene today as scheduled, the Upper House, which was prorogued in order to re-promulgate the land ordinance, will begin its sittings from Thursday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier said that he was looking forward to a productive Budget Session in the Parliament.
