Intach seeks protection of heritage structures

It awarded six heritage structures in Hyderabad

HyderabadThe Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (Intach) Hyderabad chapter on Saturday awarded six heritage structures in Hyderabad, as part of its World Heritage Day celebrations at Salar Jung Museum.
 
Speaking at the event, Intach convener Sajjad Shahid said, “It is time people of Hyderabad demand an explanation from the authorities for denotifying protected monuments.” The heritage structures won the Intach 2015 Heritage Awards are Qamraqi Gumbad at Ziaguda, Carriage Work-shop of SCR at Lalaguda, Ram Bagh Temple at Attapur, Chawni Muhammadi near Golconda Fort, Garrison Wesley Church  and SBH Gunfoundry branch building.
