Pakistani national arrested along international border

An amount of Rs 453 in Pakistan currency was recovered from his possession

Jammu: The Border Security Force has arrested a Pakistani national when he was trying to enter the Indian territory after crossing the International Border in Kanahchak sector of Jammu.

"The Pakistani national has been identified as Akram Shah (34), son of Nawab-ud-Din, a resident of Kotli Saidwali" an official said.

He said Akram was apprehended last evening when he was trying to enter the Indian territory after crossing the International Border.

He said an amount of Rs 453 in Pakistan currency was recovered from his possession.

He has been handed over to the police for further investigations, he said.
