Mumbai: Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman might finally be ready to hang up his ‘Wolverine’ claws.

The Aussie actor took to his Instagram account to confirm that he will be playing the Marvel character for 'one last time', with a photograph that featured his clenched fists and the signature claws.

The post refers to an upcoming sequel to 2013’s ‘The Wolverine’. There have also been rumours about the star making an appearance in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.

Hugh first appeared as the Wolverine in 2000’s ‘X-Men’, and has gone on to make six other appearances in the numerous X-Men films, including last year‘s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ and two ‘Wolverine’ films.

The third Wolverine instalment that is due in 2017, would have the star play the character for almost two decades.
