Ranbir Kapoor picks 'Tamasha' over girlfriend Katrina?

 

Mumbai: On Saturday, Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif unveiled her wax statue in Madame Tussauds London in the presence of fans and family. One person visibly absent was her live-in-partner Ranbir Kapoor.

 

Today, reports state that the actor, who was expected to be by his lady’s side, chose work over the special event. Ranbir was reportedly on a very tight schedule shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’ in Shimla. 

 

Contrary to all the rumours doing the rounds, Kat was well aware that her beau could not be with her as he was busy filming in Delhi and then in Shimla. As much as he would have loved to be there, he was committed to wrapping up the shoot first. 'Tamasha' was initially scheduled to release in December, 2015, however the release date had been pushed forward to 2016. Photos of the star signing autographs for fans turned up online.

Katrina unveiled the wax statue and joined the new Bollywood setting as part of the popular wax-work museum’s “15 years of Bollywood” celebration. She went head to head with competitors Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone to win a hotly contested poll last year via Madame Tussauds website and in collaboration with Panjab Radio, with more than 225,000 votes were cast.
