Mumbai: Rumours are abuzz that the television actor Rohit Roy is planning to quit his recently started daily soap ‘Peterson Hill’ that airs on SAB TV.

Roy, who was last seen in an action-packed avatar on Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Encounter’, feels his character, station master Kishore Chadda, is not shaping up the way it was discussed earlier.

"I'm  happy with my role, character and story of the show. N more than that, I'm happy with the reactions of the audience to my character. The only flip side is that the audience wants more of the station master in every episode but there's only that much that I can do given the framework of the show," shared the 46-year-old actor.

The light-hearted show, which airs on Sab TV, is inspired by a quaint little picturesque railway station in a small town of Shimla, Peterson Hill, and revolves around the lives of its simple people and the family of the station master, who manages that place
