3 killed in Lucknow ATM heist

Lucknow: In a daring daylight dacoity in Lucknow on Friday, three persons were shot dead by two motorcycle-borne assailants who decamped with a cash trunk being transferred to an ATM.

The incident took place around noon in the busy Daliganj area when a cash van with four men, including two armed guards, was moving the money to an ATM of the HDFC bank.

Those killed in the heist are Amit Kumar Singh, Avinash Shukla and Arun Kumar Singh. Two of the three killed had come with the cash van while one was a guard at the ATM.
