HyderabadA man who introduced himself as Chenna Keshav, on Monday spread panic in Dilsukhnagar with a hoax call that a bomb had been planted at the Sai Baba Temple. Following the police and the bomb squad evacuated the temple and conducted a thorough examination only to come up empty-handed. Police said the man, whose location was traced to Mahbubnagar, called the DG control room and stated that he had planted a bomb in the temple.

“This person sounded like he had mental issues. He called from a mobile phone, and we are trying to track him,” said Mr P. Seeta Ram, ACP of LB Nagar. Dilsukhnagar Saibaba temple has been a target of the terrorists at least thrice earlier. In 2002, a cycle bomb was placed near the temple. In 2007, a bomb was planted near the temple, but was defused. In 2013, two bombs exploded close to the temple.
