Airbus Helicopters signs Indian market launch orders

The company has signed the launch orders for its single-engine EC130 T2

Bengaluru: Airbus Helicopters on February 20 said it has signed Indian market launch orders for its single-engine EC130 T2 with Sanjay Ghodawat Group and Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd (GVHL). Sanjay Ghodawat Group and Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd. (GVHL) are to introduce the single-engine EC130's enhanced version later this year for passenger transport services in Kolhapur and Delhi respectively, the company said in a release.

Signing ceremonies with both customers - who ordered one EC130 T2 each - were held on Airbus Helicopters' exhibit stand (OD-8) during the ongoing Aero India 2015 at Bengaluru's Air Force Station Yelahanka, it added.
