New Delhi: Ahead of talks with PDP over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir and the trust vote in Bihar, BJP President Amit Shah on Thursday met top RSS leaders in New Delhi.

According to sources, Shah drove down to 'Keshav Kunj', the RSS office in Jhandewalan in the capital, and separately met the Sangh's second-in-command Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi, besides RSS joint general secretaries Dattatreya Hosbole, Suresh Soni and Krishan Gopal.

Shah also held a separate meeting with Krishan Gopal, the RSS pointsman in dealing with BJP affairs, with whom he is learnt to have discussed crucial issues.

The issues include talks with PDP over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir after the split verdict in December and BJP's support to chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi during the trust vote in Bihar assembly tomorrow.

The Delhi poll debacle is also likely to have figured during the discussions.

The BJP chief spent about an hour at the RSS office today.
