Hyderabad High Court seeks GHMC poll date from Telangana
Court on Monday directed the Telangana State government to file its reply by next Monday

Hyderabad: A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar of the Hyderabad High Court on Monday directed the Telangana State government to file its reply by next Monday, as to when they would hold elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The bench was dealing with a petition by the Centre for Good Governance represented by M. Padmanabha Reddy challenging the appointment of a special officer despite the expiry of term of the elected body.
