Shah Rukh Khan returns to the small screen with TV show 'India Poochega - Sabse Shaana Kaun'

 

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan recently launched his new show 'India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun Hai?'. "I am on this show only for the beauty. At my age if I get good work I can tell people aaram se aaunga, mujhe aur sona hai. The producer tells me 'Line sikhni padti hai, chup chaap kaam karo ghar jao,' says the actor jokingly.   Ask him who is the shaana in the Khan household and he says, " It is AbRam. Everything revolves around him. He tried to call me Shah Rukh but endsup saying S

hah Ku. So uski har baat shaani hoti hai." 

 

Shah Rukh admits his previous projects on television have failed. " I follow international shows. I tried doing something creative on Indian TV in the past but failed. But for this show I want to work round the clock, its special."  

 

About his show the actor says,"This whole move of having contemporary and traditional seeped in values is the kind of concept the show is based on, I think this is the need of the hour in terms of what tv content should be. This move will bring in new programming become edgy, more fun and vibrant." 

 

About Raees costar Mahira Khan SRK said, " I met her only for two minutes. She was shooting for something and I went to say hello. Ive seen some of her work and I think shes a wonderful actor."

 

The 49-year-old started his showbiz career from TV itself - via fiction shows like 'Fauji' and 'Circus'. He has also been associated through reality shows like 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain', 'Zor Ka Jhatka' and 'Dil Se Naachein Indiawaale'.
