Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday expressed its displeasure at the Telangana government for not filing a counter affidavit explaining its stand on the FAST scheme that proposes to extend financial assistance only to students whose parents were residents of Telangana as on November 1, 1956.

The court had sought the affidavit “within two weeks” on December 15 last. Telangana advocate-general K. Ramakrishna Reddy said a committee had been appointed to formulate the guidelines.
