Mumbai: It hasn’t been all work no play for co-stars Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan while on the sets of their upcoming film, Shoojit Sircar's family comedy drama, ‘Piku’ that also stars Amitabh Bachchan.

The two actors share a lot in common including their love for sports and the game of badminton. Sources reveal that Deepika and Irrfan would enjoy playing badminton on the sets of the film whenever time permitted and have been hooked to the game ever since.

Irrfan  says, “I had to play better than Deepika, and you must understand that it was a real task. I have asked her to give me some time [to prepare], so we can have a proper match soon.”

‘Piku’ is a roller coaster ride of a crazy father-daughter relationship essayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone with Irrfan Khan top lining the cast, in a pivotal author backed role. ‘Piku’ also marks coming together of Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri and Juhi Chaturvedi, the team that had scripted Vicky Donor.
