Chennai: Leander Paes and his 99th doubles partner Raven Klassen of South Africa celebrated their come-from-behind 1-6, 6-1 (10-7) win over Mahesh Bhupathi and Saketh Myneni with a chest bump.

The last time Paes and Bhupathi squared up in an ATP Tour match was in 2013 when the two estranged partners met in the Monte Carlo Masters. Thus the quarterfinal clash at SDAT Stadium where the two began their journey winning their first doubles crown together in 1997 had a lot of hype.

It did live up to the expectation as the two teams fought tooth and nail before Leander and Klassen prevailed in the super-tie breaker.
