We don’t have a 3 film contract: Shah Rukh Khan

She’s the rare woman director to make it to the “boys’ clique” that is the Rs100-crore club. With Happy New Year, among 2014’s biggest blockbusters, under her belt, Farah Khan had every reason to celebrate as she brought in her 50th birthday. Among this joie de vivre however, there has been a slightly off-key note.

Earlier this week, Farah had talked about being happy “making films with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan”, triggering much speculation. However, Shah Rukh has asserted that while Farah is indeed one of his favourite filmmakers to work with, they have no immediate plans to team up for another project. SRK also said that he was not aware of what Farah intends to work on in the future.

“I don’t know if Farah is ready with her next film yet. When you’re working together, there are ideas floating around and we do brainstorm, but I guess that happens with every director-actor when their film is in the making. There is no confirmation on our next film yet,” the superstar said, before adding, on a lighter note: “We don’t really have a three-film contract with each other!”
