Hollywood star Richard Gere meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Mumbai: Hollywood star Richard Gere met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in New Delhi.

Gere, who also happens to be the chairman of Gere Foundation and Global Envoy of International Buddhist Confederation called on the PM on January 5. The nature of the meeting is still not known.

The ‘Pretty Woman’ actor presented Modi with a bouquet of flowers and a special Tibetan scarf. The pictures of the meeting were posted on Twitter by the official handle of PMO.
