Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is making a great effort  to convince  the Telugu Film Industry (TFI) to stay in Telangana.

At the ANR National Award function on Saturday, the Chief Minister extended his hand in friendship, “We are ready to help the Telugu Film Industry and also give concessions,” said the CM at the event. He had already announced a film city near Rachakonda.

Recently, the GHMC served a notice  to Nagarjuna for  alleged land encroachment at the N-Convention. But at  the ANR function, the Chief Minister thanked Nagarjuna for inviting him as the special guest for the event.

He called him ‘Maa Nagarjuna’ and hinted that he didn’t want to quarrel with the film industry any more. Chiranjeevi, who  also attended the event, sat with the audience.

The Chief Minister said that he had appointed Talasani Srinivasa Yadav as cinematography minister, because of his close connection with the film industry.

Members from the film industry are going to meet the Telangana Chief Minister soon, and may get some concessions for the industry.
