Guwahati: The self style commander of anti talk faction of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) Bidai was the mastermind of the carnage in which 79 plantation workers were massacred in Sonitpur and Kokrajhar districts of Assam on Tuesday.

Disclosing that instruction was given by Bidai himself to NDFB rebels to target adivasi (plantation workers), authoritative security sources told this newspaper that he is suspected to have been operating from bordering areas of Bodoland Territorial Council.
