Congress MP Sanjay Singh’s son Kunwar Anant Vikram Singh joins BJP

Lucknow: Kunwar Anant Vikram Singh, son of Congress Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, joined BJP along with his supporters on Sunday.

Anant was welcomed in the BJP fold by state party president Laxmikant Bajpai.

“With Anant Vikram and his supporters joining the party, we stand strengthened. We hope that they will work to further stren-gthen the party at the grassroots level,” the state BJP chief said.

Anant Vikram has been in the news since the past four months because of his estra-nged relationship wi-th his father Sanjay Singh and the latter’s second wife Rani Ameeta Singh.
