Washington: Pakistan’s Army-run school massacre, on Wednesday, unleashes another harrowing tale that ended the life of the school’s principal. DailyMail reports claim that Tahira Kazi was set on fire alive on campus of the ill-fated school because she had married a retired army colonel, Kazi Zafrullah. Horrifying pictures revealed the carnage wrought by seven extremist gunmen who sprayed children with bullets as they sat receiving first aid tuition and exploded suicide bombs in a room of 60 pupils.

As the Pakistani city of Peshawar began the harrowing process of conducting mass funerals, the family of a teacher torched alive in front of her class gathered to say funeral prayers.

Condemning the terror attack, US Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said: “The message we convey to both Afghanistan and Pakistan is that there’s no place    they should not have safe havens for any of these terrorist organisations . Obviously, we work with both countries on counterterrorism measures. But our conversations with Pakistan have been at all levels, of course, of the Pakistani Government regarding the attack.”
