Singapore design with local flavours

The master plan will be prepared keeping in view all the local components

Hyderabad: In a government to government (G2G) agreement, the Andhra Pradesh and the  Singapore governments have decided to construct important offices and administrative buildings in 8-sq km area of the capital city.

“My ambition is to have first phase of capital city construction completed by next elections i.e. 2019,” Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said.

The MoU was signed between Infrastructure Corporation of Andhra Pradesh and International Enterprise of Singapore on Monday.  

Singapore minister S. Iswaran, who was present during the MoU signing,  said, “I am here to  have a better idea and vision of the capital city.”

Saying that Singapore city-nation model will not be slapped on AP capital, the minister said, “Every area has its own culture and touch. The master plan will be prepared keeping in view all the local components”
