Mumbai:  Bollywood photographer Jayesh Sheth has recently announced that he is enthusiatic about making a biopic on 90's  Bollywood siren Mamta Kulkarni. Immediately there were whispers that Sunny Leone may be a prime contender for the role. The troubled star Mamta  was recently in the news when reports surfaced that the actress along with her husband had been arrested in Kenya in a drug bust.

Mamta Kulkarni, who shot to notoriety with a topless cover shot for a film magazine, embraced a life of anonymity after her fortunes dipped and she found love with international drug kingpin Vicky Goswami. In 1997 Vicky was arrested for trafficking 11.5 tonnes of mandrax valued at $ 6 million and incarcerated in Dubai.

According to a leading daily, Jayesh Sheth has known Mamta for a long time and shot her topless cover for a magazine which brought her instant fame. Could Sunny Leone actually be the perfect candidate for Mamta's role?  Sheth has been quoted saying,
"Sunny came to my mind as she bears great resemblance to Mamta — a sensuous body with an innocent face. But now it's too early to say anything, at least till the time I finish writing the script. I have some other names in mind, but Sunny comes closest to Mamta."

While Sunny has had a decent run in Bollywood so far, she is known to be brazen and could perhaps capture Mamta's bold streak. Sunny is currently shooting for Milap Zaveri's 'Mastizaade' opposite Tusshar Kapoor.
