AAI, Pawan Hans to be listed in stock exchange

It will improve efficiency and transparency, says Mahesh Sharma, MoS

Visakhapatnam: Union minister of state for civil aviation Mahesh Sharma said that Airports Authority of India and Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd will be listed in the stock exchanges.  
 
In a written reply to Vizag MP Kambhampati Haribabu in the Lok Sabha on Monday, the union minister said that to improve efficiency and transparency, the ministry of civil aviation has framed a draft civil aviation policy in November 2014 which provides interalia to list Airports Authority of India and Pawan Hans Helicopter Ltd in the stock exchanges. 
 
To another query by the Vizag MP, union minister of state Vishnu Deo Sai has said that consumption of finished steel has gone up in India. The union minister said that the consumption of finished steel for the period April-October 2014 is 43.135 million tonnes as compared to 42.906 million tonnes during the same period  last year, exhibiting a growth of 0.5 per cent. 
 
He said that Institute of Steel Development and Growth is working towards the efficient usage of steel in construction segment.
