Rowdy beaten to death at Suleman Nagar

The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained

Khader Ali was running a plastic bottle scrap unit named M.K Traders in Ali Nagar in Mailard-evpally and was a resident of Langar House.

Hyderabad: Mohammed Fazil, 29, a rowdy sheeter from Golconda, who was attacked by a group at Suleman Nagar, died in hospital later.

On Monday night, Fazil was attacked at the Vijetha Hotel in Suleman Nagar, following an argument. The group attacked Fazil with sticks and he suffered multiple injur-ies. He was shifted to hospital where he succumbed in the early hours of Wednesday. Fazil was reportedly drunk when he was attacked.

Inspector Venkat Reddy said the police had registered a murder case. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained and a manhunt is on to nab the killers.

Sources said that it is suspected that one Sadam, Khaleel and their associates murdered Fasil.

Fazil’s body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem. Fazil, a realtor, was a resident of Langar House. He  was a noted criminal and an accused in many cases including an attempt to murder.
