Jacqueline Fernandez campaigns to protect the elephants of Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan actress Jacqueline Fernandez took up a good cause over the week, of protecting the wild elephants of her native land.
Celebrities these days are choosing more innovative and smart ways to promote the brands they endorse, by opting for campaigns that highlight a social causes.
Jacqueline Fernandez who starred in the super hit movie 'Kick' is also an active member of the animal rights group PETA.
Jacqueline has been to the Pussellayaya and Weheragalagama villages before where she experienced the sights, sounds and serenity of the place.
The actress is currently enjoying the success of her film 'Kick' which has already collected over 80 crore over just the week end.
The locals who accompanied the actress on the walk put forth their grievances and at the same time spoke to her about the effects of development on movement of the elephants.

The actress interacted with the locals and the forest officials of the Pussellayaya and Weheragalagama villages, as they walked through the elephant corridor.
