Hyderabad: The Telangana government has made it clear that  fresh recruitment in the government sector can be made only after the distribution of the existing employees are complete between the two states.

“Though we had expected that there would be around one lakh vacancies, the actual numbers will be known only after the distribution of existing employees between the two states. Many institutions have to be bifurcated. A clarity over actual vacancies would come after this process is over,” Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said to the Assembly on Friday.

The Telangana Public Service Commission will start issue notifications, once the exact vacancy is known, added Mr Rao.
