Guntur: The state government’s strategical move to counter the resistance for its land pooling plan seems to be working, as farmers of Nelapadu, Tulluru, Sakhamuru, Inavolu and Nirukonda are now giving their nod, moving from their stern resistance.

Non-inclusion of Tadikonda MLA Tenali Shravan Kumar in the Cabinet sub-committee on capital was also another issue to offend the farmers.

However, the state government had been quick to sense the trouble. MLA Mr  Kumar was appointed the special invitee of the committee. This instilled confidence in the farmers.

However, Undavalli, Penumaka, Errabalem,Nidamarru, Kuragallu, Rayapudi, Mandadam, Lingayapalem, Uddhandrayunipalem, Venkatapalem and Borupalem are still opposing the pooling of land.
