Mumbai: Basketball legend Michael Jordan recently took a jab at US President Barack Obama, and it wasn’t about his governing skills.

In an interview last week with Back9Networks' Ahmad Rashad, the former NBA star was asked who would comprise his "dream" golf foursome. Jordan, who is an avid golfer picked Obama as one of his team members and then retracted that decision calling the president a ‘hack’.

When Rashad asked him if he really wanted to say that about the President of the United States, he simply shot back saying, “I never said he’s wasn’t a great politician, I just said he’s a s***** golfer.”

Obama appeared on a radio show where the question about Jordan did come up.

To that the President replied rather tactfully and said that the sports star wasn’t ‘well informed’ about his (Obama's) golfing skills.

He went on to say that he is sure Michael was a better golfer than he was, adding, "Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case."

While he was at it, he also suggested that the Charlotte Hornets co-owner should spend more time working on a team win. He ended the interview in good spirits saying that he ‘loved the man’ and that he brought the country a lot of championships.
