Jennifer Lawrence shells out $8 million on new LA home
The actress bought the French-styled house that previously belonged to singer Jessica Simpson

Los Angeles: 'Hunger Games' star JenniferLawrence has bought a house in Beverly Crest for USD 8.2 million.
The house was sold to the 24-year-old actress by Sydney Holland, who had bought it a year ago from singer Jessica Simpson for USD 6.4 million, reported the Los Angeles Times.
The 5,500-square-foot French-style house was built in 1991 and has high ceilings, an updated kitchen, an office, five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The front of the house has a stone and floral courtyard with a koi pond. The backyard contains a lawn and a swimming pool.
