Shruti Haasan fan’s wish comes true
The young girl’s wish was to meet her favourite actress Shruti Haasan
Shruti Haasan took a day off from her shoot and drove down to Pune to fulfill a little girl’s wish. A few days ago, the pretty actress got a call regarding a wish made by a 17-year old girl Sheetal Pawar from Pune, who is battling for her life and is in the last stage of cancer.
Sheetal had been hospitalised for long and was recently discharged by her doctors stating that she wasn’t responding to further treatment and that she should live the last few days of her life to the fullest. The young girl’s wish was to meet her favourite actress Shruti Haasan.
On hearing this, Shruti, who’d been shooting for Yaara with Vidyut Jamwal in Mumbai, took a day off to meet the girl in Pune and spent the entire day with her. The two bonded over movies and Shruti also gave her a handwritten letter, before she drove back to resume shooting for her film.
Shruti, who got to know about this through the Make-a-Wish foundation, was immensely touched by the courage and liveliness of the young girl.
