Drunk Man murdered for urinating on bike

They smashed a beer bottle and stabbed Jagadish in the chest, shoulder and back

BENGALURU: A drunk man who urinated on a bike was allegedly stabbed to death by the bike owner and his friend on Hanumanthanagar 50 feet Road in Nagendra Block on Sunday night. The accused duo has been detained by the police.The deceased has been identified as Jagadish, 28, who was a resident of Hosakerehalli and was working in a private firm. The accused have been identified as Shivakumar and Manjunath.
 
Deceased Jagadish had gone to Vinayaka Bar and Restaurant on 50 feet road along with four of his friends and drank beer. He got two more bottles packed and came out of the bar. After his friends left around 11.15 pm, Jagadish urinated on a bike parked in front of the bar. Bike owner Shivakumar, who came out of the bar to leave, noticed Jagadish’s prank, the police said. “Shivakumar and Manjunath rushed near their bike and snatched the beer bottles Jagadish had in his hands.
 
They smashed one of the bottles and stabbed him in the chest, shoulder and back. Manjunath took out a knife and stabbed Jagadish in the neck. The police, who were alerted, rushed to the spot and took Jagadish to a hospital, but he succumbed on the way. The accused duo was immediately secured,” the police explained. Hanumanthanagar police have registered a murder case and are further investigating.
