KARIMNAGARIT minister K.T. Rama Rao exuded confidence that the Telangana state would be in a position to sell power to Andhra Pradesh in the next three years.

Assuring supply of power for nine hours to the agriculture sector in a phased manner, he said that the Telangana government would be able to sell its surplus electricity to Andhra Pradesh in the coming three years.

Finding fault with  BJP MLA Kishan Reddy’s  dharna protest scheduled on October 27, Mr Rao said that  Mr Reddy was behaving irresponsibly over the shortage of power. He regretted that every party was trying to blame the TRS-led government over power crisis in the state.
