Judicial probe ordered
Neethu Prasad geared up their revenue, medical and health department
KAKINADA: District collector Neethu Prasad ordered a magisterial inquiry into the fire crackers blast incident at Vakathippa village in U. Kothapalli mandal of East Godavari District, 22 km from Kakinada on Monday. She directed Kakinada Revenue Divisional Officer B.R. Ambedkar to probe the incident.
Soon after receiving the information about the cracker blast incident, Neethu Prasad geared up their revenue, medical and health department and other related departmental officials for taking further relief measures and extend medical assistance and other services.
Initially, the injured were admitted in government general hospital here, later, all the injured persons including the cracker unit owner Koppisetti Appa Rao and his mother Lakshmi were shifted to Apollo Hospital. Kakinada MP Thota Narasihmam visited the blast spot at Vakathippa village and Apollo Hospital and promised help.
