State liquor ban gets international coverage

The Wine Dealers' Association had requested the government to increase the price of beer by Rs 10.
Thiruvananthapuram: International news channel AJ + based in San Francisco in California has carried the news of the liquor ban in the state. The channel, a subsidiary of Al Jazeera International, is a mobile app-based TV channel through iOS and Android app. It covered the issue in detail with reactions of habitual drinkers, but there was no reaction from the government officials.
 
The news clip having duration of a minute and 28 seconds has  no narration except the comments of the drinkers. 
The story, however, begins with the caption that the Indian state of Kerala has  an alcohol problem and then gets the comment of a habitual drinker who claims that he started drinking at the age of 14 and that now his shivering can be stopped only by drinking. 
 
According to the producer of the news, Priya Raveendran, the editorial concept of AJ+ was that the story should speak from the angle of a habitual drinker.
