PIA flight attacked in Peshawar

The attackers were armed with hand grenades and sub machine guns

Peshawar: Passengers on a PIA flight had a narrow escape when unidentified armed men fired at the plane with sub machine guns today, media reports said, the latest such incident targeting the state carrier.

Pakistan International Airlines came under attack early in the morning, however, the plane was not damaged and it landed safely at Bacha Khan International Airport here.

Four attackers were seen escaping from the scene, witnesses said, adding that the attackers were armed with hand grenades and sub machine guns.
