SRIKAKULAM: IT parks would be developed in all district headquarters across the state in a phased manner said minister for I&PR, IT and minority welfare, P. Raghunadha Reddy. The minister reviewed all development activities with officials at Srikakulam on Tuesday along with labour minister K. Atchennaidu and zilla parishad chairperson Ch. Dhanalaxmi.

The minister directed revenue officials to issue notices to encroachers of Wakf lands in Ponduru, Srikakulam. Out of total 1,780 acres 770 acres are under encroachments, officials explained to the minister. 
 
Minister questioned officials for not organising mass marriages for Muslims in the district. 
 
The labour minister asked the officials to prepare a report on sick industries in the district for its revival as part of providing employment to the youth and development of industries. The ministers assured issue of health cards to scribes to provide treatment up to Rs 2.50 lakh on par with government employees. Later, the minister visited Arasavalli and Srikurmam temples and assured for development of tourism to attract more devotees.
