Guntur: Heavy rains killed two women in the Guntur district in two separate incidents on Thursday. Former MPTC, C. Seetravamma, 50, of Konuru village of Achampeta mandal died due to lightening when she was returning to home from farm fields.
In another incident, a woman was washed away in the flood waters of Kondaveeti vagu at LAM farm chapta and police have identified her as D. Venkatravamma, 45, of Lingapuram village.
