The other side of Karan Patel

Karan Patel got into a verbal argument with photographers

Mumbai: Celebrities and the paparazzi have a love-hate relationship, and this was in evidence at a recent shoot for the TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, when the lead pair of the film Finding Fanny, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone dropped by on the sets to promote their film.

The problem apparently arose when a few of the shutterbugs and YHM’s Karan Patel got into a verbal argument, with the actor categorically asking them to leave the sets. His co-star Divyanka Tripathi, however, intervened and told the photographers that the show’s team would cooperate with them completely.

When we contacted Divyanka to confirm the incident, she said, “I am not aware of what transpired between Karan and the media. I only found out about it later. I stood up for the photographers because they had been officially invited to cover the shoot. They were doing their job and they didn’t misbehave with anyone.”

So did her pro-photographers stand irk Karan? “Karan and I are absolutely professional co-actors. So our equation will be the same,” she replied.
