Hyderabad: A clash broke out on the Osmania University campus on Friday as the students interrupted the rally of the Telangana Universities Teachers’ Association. The assistant professors on contract took out the rally demanding regularisation of their jobs. The teachers proceeded shouting slogans praising Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the TRS. However, the students protested saying that only the university authority can take the decision.
