Sonam kapoor sports quirky glasses

Mumbai: Sonam Kapoor has been sporting quirky glasses as she makes the rounds, promoting her film Khoobsoorat. But the eyewear we’re told, is more than just a fashion statement. Poor Sonam has been suffering from an eye infection and has been told not to wear her contacts for a few days till the infection subsides hence the glasses. Of course, being the fashionista that she is, Sonam wouldn’t just wear any regular glasses, but has been sporting a striking pair that spell geek-chic.

“I had been using a lot of eye make-up while making promotional appearances and my eyes got very dry, which increases the risk of the infection spreading,” Sonam explained. Inspired by Sonam’s newest accessory, co-star Fawad Khan too has been sporting a pair of glasses. “Fawad has been wearing similar glasses because we are both a bit blind,” Sonam says, with a laugh. “As they say, love is blind.” Awww…
