Sania Mirza meets Telangana CM KCR, thanks him for support

Hyderabad: US Open mixed doubles winner Sania Mirza said she won the title thanks to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s encouragement. Sania called on the CM at his camp office on Tuesday after her sensational win.

Complimenting the tennis ace, the Chief Minister said Sania was a role model for all other tennis players. He also wished her success in the ensuing tournaments.

Promising all support to Sania, the CM praised the tennis star for dedicating the win to Telangana and India. Mr Rao said the state government would felicitate Sania soon in Hyderabad.
