Thiruvananthapuram: The battle cry between the CPM and RSS men is raging on Facebook following the murder of the RSS leader in Kannur on Monday.

CPM state secretariat member P. Jayarajan’s son Jain Raj hailed the murder in a post but deleted it soon after the party dissociated itself from  the incident.

“Since how long we have been waiting to hear this good news. Congratulations dear comrades. Feeling xcited,”  read Jain Raj’s post.

Reacting to the FB post, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said that the intelligence wing had brought the issue to the government’s notice.

“Though the post has now been withdrawn, we will probe into the matter,’’ he said at a press conference here.

But a couple of hours later, another post appeared on his Facebook page justifying the earlier remarks.

“I saw the news that P. Jayarajan’s son has posted some offending post.  My only crime is that I hailed the comrades of Kathirur. But nobody asked why?  Sangh Parivar wants to burn me alive.”

“Some others want to  teach me the technical side of discipline.  But those coming to attack with a battle cry and those giving advice should understand that I am a son. When I hear that the person who dipped my childhood in blood, who incapacitated my father and who hacked our Surendrettan, is lying dead on the road. As a son I will definitely rejoice.”

“No matter how much the media tries to attack me, I will continue to say the same thing because of the love for my father whom I love more than my life,’’ his post read.

About 250 people shared his post and 1,070 liked it. Comments posted by activists of the Sangh Parivar on RSS pages also spoke of avenging the killing.

“Our tradition is to retaliate before the blood dries up on the killer sword. Your time starts now comrades,’’ one post said. “Be prepared to arm yourself and retaliate.  Your blood will not go waste, every drop will be avenged,’’ another said. The RSS pages were  liked by more than 600 people and shared by 200.
