AAP men not allowed to meet Health Minister

The party has demanded Hepatitis checks for other patients who had done dialysis

Chennai: AAP party members who were asked to meet health minister C. Vijaya Baskar on Monday following their protest in front of the latter’s residence previous morning were denied an audience.
 
The party workers on Sunday had demonstrated in front of the minister’s residence asking for compensation for patients who had contracted Hepatitis while they were having their dialysis at Stanley Government hospital. “The minister’s personnel assistant had asked us to come on Monday but we were left waiting and then told that he is not available,” said party leader Chandra Mohan.
 
The party has demanded Hepatitis checks for other patients who had done dialysis at the hospital in the past month.
