Apple iPhone 6 may be launched on September 9

The iPhone 6 unveiling is just a matter of a few days from now. With hundreds of leaked information and pictures, the tech world has speculated almost 90 percent of the phone by now.  Finally, we know that the iPhone 6 will be unveiled in two flavours—a 4.7-incher and a 5.5-incher. The iPhone 6 was believed to sport a display below the full HD scale.

However, a tweet from James Thompson, a Mac developer, seems to reveal something interesting. His research on the iOS 8 developer modules (Beta 5) distributed by Apple Inc earlier, has tapped into gold.

According to his tweet, Apple’s iOS 8 on Beta v5, the display would load an image three times the size as opposed to twice that on an iOS 7 device.

However, he is not hesitating to call it a bug, which means, since the iOS 8 is still in developer beta mode there could be high chances of errors and bugs, which could be causing this output.

Nevertheless, he won’t pass it as a bug completely too. It is possibly true that the new iPhone 6 handsets could be either sporting higher-resolution displays, or larger display screens. However, the latter seems more of a possibility since Apple won’t be sporting larger-sized displays which would increase the size of the overall handsets.

Well, Thompson is presently still working on the same, and we have no further information.

However, with just 8 days for the Apple event, the final specifications will be out and the wait will be over.
