Kishore turns hero
Versatile actor sings for an action drama film Kadhali Kaanavillai

Versatile actor Kishore is picky about his roles. So far, he has starred in character roles in most of his films, barring a few, like Vana Yuddham, a biopic of forest brigand, Veerappan. Kishore has now signed a movie, titled Kadhali Kaanavillai, an action drama where he plays a menacing dada, with Harthika co-starring.
“It is not a routine blood-and-gore life of a don,” says Ravi Raja, director of the film. “The story actually projects the softer side of the terrorising dada. When I narrated the script to Kishore, he was very impressed and gave dates immediately.” GR Gold Films produces the movie. Recently, Srikanth Deva rendered a kutthu number, Naan Thaanda Chennai King for KK, composed by his dad, Deva.
