Improved inflows at Srisailam Dam

Rains in the catchment areas of Tungabhadra and Krishna Rivers have caused good inflows

Hyderabad: Much to the relief for Irrigation Projects as well as for Hydel power generation in both Telangana and AP states, there has been considerable improvement in inflows to major reservoirs.

Thanks to the widespread rains in the catchment areas of Tungabhadra and Krishna Rivers in upstream Karnataka State and also due to Reservoir already touching full storage levels in that state. There has been improvement at Srisailam Dam in inflows reaching to 93, 725 cusecs against 10, 000 cusecs.
