Reddy demanded Rs 20 lakh for each victim’s family

Hyderabad: Opposition Leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the government to order a judicial enquiry, by the sitting High Court judge, on 14 political murders, which took place in the last three months. Speaking at a short discussion on law and order situation in the Assembly, on Friday, Mr Reddy demanded Rs 20 lakh ex-gratia for each victim’s family. He said that the government has to give a free hand to the police to take action on those who are involved in the murders.
