Telangana CM aims at Dasara launch of new schemes

Hyderabad: Scrutiny of the survey data will begin from the second week of September. As many as 381 data resource centres are being set up at mandal levels to computerise the data. Nearly 50,000 data-entry operators are being roped in to complete uploading the data. The exercise will begin from August 22.
 
Officials will begin verification after the database is created. The data will be shared with the civil supplies department, housing department, BC/ SC/ST department, RTA and revenue departments and it will be cross-checked with the existing data of beneficiaries available with the various departments.
 
It will be help the government in weeding out bogus beneficiaries of ration cards, housing schemes, pensions, scholarships and fee reimbursement. With the Aadhaar numbers already being inter-linked with various departments, officials feel that this  will simplify their task of verifying whether the details provided were correct or not. 
 
Official sources said that plan is to identify genuine beneficiaries by Dasara, on October 3, to enable the TS government to launch it’s new schemes between Dasara and Diwali.
 
TS CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao, had announced during his Independence Day speech at Golconda Fort that the new schemes would be launched between Dasara and Diwali and officials want to have the list of eligible beneficiaries ready by then.
 
The government is also planning to issue new ration cards with the Telangana state logo from Dussehra and the survey database will help weeding out bogus beneficiaries.
